American Legion selling barbeque dinners.

American Legtion Post 209 wil sell barbeque dinners the 1st Saturday of each month beginning June 3, 2023,  Dinners will feature chicken or pork, with rice dressing, a side and dessert.  Drinks will be available for sale.  Pick up will be from 10 AM to Noon at the American Legion hall located at 1517 LA 10, Washington, LA 70589.  Proceeds will be dedicated to repairs, maintenance and Legion activities.  Please come out and support local veterans.

Comedy Night this Saturday!

Join the Washington Garden Club for a family-friendly night of Cajun Comedy featuring Jonathan Perry.  Doors open at 5:15 with light hor d'oeuvres being served.  The program begins at 6:00 PM followed by drawing for door prizes and an exciting live auction.  Tickets are only $20 and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
